The Paradigm Shift: What will happen to the market and should you be worried?

There is a paradigm going on right now in the personal growth industry. Last shift happened two decades ago when entrepreneurs got in the online space. It was a great time and the world got really connected. Today the world is a very small place. We get to experience distance places from someone else’s body, via vehicles like youtube.

A lot of people got knowledge from online and were able to transform their own as well as their client’s lives. And in doing so, the average age of millionaires came down to 30 from the age of 50. The internet does not discern who is the giver and who is the receiver.

Unfortunately, It also created a great vortex for fake gurus and copycat experts with their “get rich quick” mentality and now all of a sudden we see that the personal growth industry is reeling back because the clients have lost faith and they are very weary about buying a new product. The value of the information product is plummeting.

Regrettably, the good coaches and genuine entrepreneurs are struggling and a lot of solopreneurs are paying the price for it. The coaches, experts & transformation entrepreneurs who have a genuine message and sincere service to offer, are struggling to get their message out; because the clients they want to serve has lost faith and not easily willing to trust again.

Things are really shifting in the transformation space. It used to be easy to get results online, but, not anymore. The “Big Players” have a big question on their minds and a serious look of worry. The ones who used to preach about taking the business online are befuddled and flip-flopping to go back offline to create a solid foundation before creating an online empire & freedom lifestyle business.

So what will happen to the market and should you be worried?

Nah!. Not really, if you are truly on your path, there is nothing that will stop you. The nature takes its course and water finds its level.

I am a firm believer of “the Brazilian nut effect” THE BIG NUT ALWAYS RISES OVER THE SMALL NUTS. You see, we learned in physics that heavy things sink in the bottom but every time I buy a big can of mixed nuts from Costco, I see that the Brazilian nuts are always on top. Naturally, the thinking-monkey mind always wondered why that happens so that’s how I found out. Moreover, I have also noticed that in real life that the big nuts always find a way to come back on top.

Obviously, they will have to modify and shake things up and I believe these are the top five things that have to change in our personal growth arena.

  • Transformation VS information: The fake it till you make it model is out and the client is looking for genuine transformation
  • Genuine Compassion/caring/ : Sincere service, commitment & engagement. No means No. Stop Spam. Please do not send me unsolicited emails to sell your affiliate service for your cashflow.
  • Promise less, deliver more:  Take ownership of your program or service. Make sure it delivers what it promised.
  • Focus & attention : true connection & personalization
  • Specially tailored for me: Customization

So what will the next phase look like for online/coaching industry? How can we regain the trust of the very people we want to serve?

Well, the quickest way to gain client trust is to provide transformation, in the true sense. In other words, provide knowledge that will activate your clients' powers, to be, do or have anything they want.

In the comment box below let me know if you are a client or a transformation entrepreneur and how you plan to position when the shift is in full bloom.
